Jakarta - Kembali Jepang meluncurkan robot canggihnya yang membuat kagum dunia. Para peneliti di negeri Sakura itu kini memamerkan sebuah robot cantik yang bakal lenggak lenggok di catwalk layaknya supermodel.

Sebelumnya sudah ada cikal bakal robot semacam ini. Namun saat itu, bentuknya belum terlalu sempurna untuk berperan sebagai peragawati.

Beda halnya dengan robot terbaru ini. Tidak saja bisa berbicara menyapa para hadirin, robot cantik bernama HRP-4C tersebut juga diprogram sedemikian rupa sehingga gerak gerik tubuhnya mirip dengan model manusia sungguhan.

Saat ditampilkan pada khayalak di Tokyo, sang robot tampil dengan senyum mempesona. Bahkan ia nantinya akan tampil juga di sesi khusus perhelatan busana Tokyo fashion show.

Dengan tinggi sekitar 158 cm, fisik HRP-4C mirip dengan perawakan wanita Jepang pada umumnya. Menurut para pembuatnya, bentuk si robot terinspirasi dari karakter di komik manga.

interior rumah, lantai, dan air. Panel-panel atap kaca memungkinkan matahari
menghangatkan udara dalam saluran-saluran udara yang berada di bawah
permukaan atap. Suhu udara hangat tersebut meningkat dan sebagian kemudian
dialirkan untuk memanaskan sebuah tanki air panas.

Kemudian aliran udara panas tersebut disalurkan ke sebuah ruang terbuat dari
beton di bawah lantai dasar. Beton tersebut menyerap sebagian udara panas
selama siang hari dan melepaskannya di malam hari. Udara hangat yang dilepas
menyelusup ke lantai dan menghangatkan ruangan di atasnya.

Pada musim panas, sistem ini menghembuskan udara hangat ke luar setelah
udara hangat tersebut digunakan untuk memanaskan air. Sistem ini juga
menyerap udara panas di dalam ruangan dan menyalurkannya berlawanan arah
dengan aliran yang terjadi di musim dingin.

Lalu di malam hari, sistem ini mengalirkan udara hangat ke ruang beton di
bawah lantai dan udara tersebut didinginkan sebelum memasuki ruang di atas
lantai. Anda juga memiliki pilihan untuk menambah panel-panel photovoltaic
yang menghasilkan tenaga listrik.

Untuk memasang sistem ini pada rumah, Anda hanya perlu mengeluarkan biaya
ekstra sebesar 8 hingga 15% dari yang seharusnya. Namun, menurut Miles,
sistem ini membuat Anda dapat menghemat pengeluaran untuk biaya energi

Youtube mampu menerjemahkan teks secara Otomatis

Menonton video di Youtube kini semakin nyaman dan tidak lagi terbatas oleh perbedaan bahasa dengan hadirnya fitur captions/subtitles (Captions untuk teks dalam bahasa yang sama dengan video dan Subtitles untuk teks dalam bahasa yang berbeda dari yang ditampilkan di video). Terkadang kita mendapati beberapa video di Youtube yang sebenarnya menarik, tetapi karena bahasa yang digunakan tidak kita mengerti, sangat sulit bagi kita untuk menangkap apa yang disampaikan melalui video tersebut. Pihak Youtube memahami keluhan tersebut dan sudah beberapa waktu lalu membuat fasilitas bagi pengguna untuk dapat menambahkan file captions/subtitle berekstensi .TXT ke dalam video yang sudah diunggah sebelumnya.

Ternyata hal tersebut belumlah cukup, karena belum tentu teks yang ditampilkan dapat dimengerti semua orang dan akan sangat merepotkan jika kita harus membuat subtitle untuk beragam bahasa. Untuk mempermudahnya Youtube sepertinya memanfaatkan salah satu fasiitas atau layanan yang telah dimiliki Google yaitu Google Translate, memungkinkan YouTube untuk secara otomatis menerjemahkan teks pada captions/subtitle ke dalam banyak bahasa lain dengan kualitas terjemahan yang tidak jauh berbeda seperti saat Anda menggunakan Google Translate.

Jika Anda menemukan video yang sudah ditambahkan dengan captions/ subtitle melalui Youtube (tandanya ikon CC berwarna merah), coba arahkan kursor ke ikon segitiga di pojok kanan bawah jendela video lalu arahkan kursor ke tanda panah di sebelahnya untuk memilih bahasa sesuai yang diunggah oleh pemilik video tersebut. Pilih English supaya lebih mudah untuk diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa lainnya, baru kemudian Anda bisa mengklik Translate dan akan muncul pilihan terjemah bahasa yang beragam, termasuk bahasa Indonesia.
